    The founding of Henley Construction

    Henley Construction (originating with the name ' Robert J. Henley Construction') was founded in 1964 by Bob Henley. Starting the business from scratch, he was able to oversee the company's growth from a one-man operation to a recognized area leader in construction, renovation, & contracting services.

    And so it began with the first project: Raising the roof on a home in Rockville, MD.

    The first school project for Henley Construction was an addition to Brookview Elementary School.

Henley Construction was founded in 1964 by Bob Henley. Starting the business from scratch, he was able to oversee the company's growth from a one-man operation to a recognized area leader in construction, renovation, and contracting services. While developing the business, Bob focused on one central theme - quality. Now, under the direction of his son Buddy, Henley Construction Co., Inc. continues to focus on quality in all aspects of its operation.
