This project consisted of a historic renovation of the Thomas Cannery, a building that dates backs to 1910 and is on the National Registry of Historical Buildings. The former agricultural cannery was vacant for 50 years. Our scope of work called for gutting the existing wood-framed second floor and roof framing, which were structurally unsound.

Awards: AIA Maryland Honor Award
Montgomery County Award for Historic Preservation - Renovation of a Historic Resource for Commercial Use.
