DescriptionThe Lucy Barnsley Elementary School project included a new 28,450 SF addition on the front of the existing facility meeting the needs of the student body by providing the accommodations necessary allowing for greater educational success. An additional 3,950 SF of select interior renovation work was done where the new addition connected to the existing structure. Very extensive site work modifications were made to accommodate current stormwater management requirements and expand the available on-site parking. School staff and students vacated from the site for twelve months, relocating to a nearby holding facility and returned to reoccupy the school for the start of the fall semester.
