Manassas City Hall is a brick building with large windows, American and state flags in front, all set against a clear blue sky with some clouds.

Manassas City Hall

This transformative project renovated the historic City Hall building nestled in the heart of Old Town Manassas.  This endeavor marks a significant milestone in preserving the architectural heritage of the community while modernizing its infrastructure to meet contemporary needs.

The renovation encompasses a comprehensive overhaul of the existing City Hall building, spanning 30,000 square feet and comprising four stories along with a basement level.  The scope of work included facade and window restoration with the removal and replacement of the aged brick façade and window/curtainwalls to enhance both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. Structural upgrades to the existing steel and masonry components.  System upgrades to essential systems including HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical, and low voltage systems to optimize efficiency and functionality. The removal and replacement of the hydraulic elevator to provide improved accessibility and reliability. Complete removal and replacement of all existing interior finishes, ensuring a revitalized and contemporary interior environment.

Our objective was the preserve the City Hall building while incorporating modern amenities and technology.  To enhance energy efficiency and sustainability through the installation of advanced building systems and improve functionality and accessibility to better serve the needs of the community and city officials.

By revitalizing Manassas City Hall, we aim to create a space that fosters civic engagement, facilitates efficient governance, and inspires pride among residents and visitors alike.
