Montgomery College P1/P2 HVAC Upgrades

Enhanced comfort and efficiency with the HVAC upgrade project for Pavilion One and Two buildings at Montgomery College’s Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus.  This initiative underscores our commitment to delivering superior solutions that prioritize occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and operational excellence.

Henley partnered with Montgomery College and the A/E teams to orchestrate a comprehensive HVAC upgrade to Pavilion One and Two, encompassing classroom, computer lab, and office spaces.  The project addressed the critical need to replace outdated HVAC systems and enhance heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for optimal indoor conditions.

The scope of work included demolition and removal of existing systems, strategic site coordination for material delivery, and retrofitting new systems into the existing space.  We collaborated closely with trade partners through a Design-Assist approach to ensure timely procurement and delivery of HVAC equipment, mitigating construction delays.  Notable installations comprised steel dunnage for RTUs, hydronic piping integration, valves, BAS system enhancements, and ductwork upgrades.  Additionally, the project encompassed the installation of an updated fire alarm system, ceiling grids, lights, and tiles, culminating in a comprehensive modernization effort.

The Pavilion HVAC upgrade project represents a strategic investment in infrastructure modernization and occupant well-being.  By embracing state-of-the-art HVAC technology, Montgomery College demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.  Through meticulous planning, execution, and collaboration, the project delivers superior outcomes, ensuring long-term value for the facility and its stakeholders.
