Silverbrook Elementary School
The transformation of the Silverbrook Elementary School project featured the addition of four one-story expansions strategically positioned around the existing school. This ambitious endeavor not only revitalized the school’s infrastructure but also rejuvenated its learning environment to better serve students and staff.
The scope of work encompassed the meticulous renovation and renewal of the existing school building, addressing key components such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as doors, windows, finishes, sprinkler systems, roofing, and site enhancements. This holistic approach ensured that every aspect of the facility met modern standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
Throughout the project, careful phasing allowed for the seamless continuation of school operations, minimizing disruption, and ensuring uninterrupted access for students and staff. This commitment to maintaining occupancy underscores our dedication to prioritizing the well-being and educational continuity of the school community.
In line with our commitment to sustainability and student well-being, the new school was thoughtfully designed with Collaborative for High-Performance Schools (CHPS) criteria in mind. By incorporating principles of energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and environmental stewardship, the project was thoughtfully designed, further enhancing the learning environment, and promoting the health and productivity of all occupants.
