The American Subcontractors Association of Metro Washington has bestowed the great honor of awarding Matt Trumble, with Henley Construction, 2019 Superintendent of the Year.
Matt started his career at Henley Construction in 2014, while he was still a full-time student at University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. He graduated in the Fall of 2017, with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Matt’s time with Henley began in the office and field, compiling closeout documents and completing the punch list for Gaithersburg Library. He later moved out into the field full time as Assistant Superintendent and worked on Thoreau Middle School in Vienna, VA. Upon completion, he moved to West Springfield High School, in Fairfax, Virginia, as Superintendent, working on 289,000 SF of renovations and 108,000 SF of additions. His main focus has always been and remains strong communication with the subcontractors as well as school liaisons and inspectors.
