  • DescriptionOakton High School Renovation project is an occupied, renovation and addition project that consists of 4 main phases with 11 intermediate smaller phases in between. In Phase 1, the existing main entrance, administration offices, library and art rooms were demoed in preparation for the new additions that would include a new main entrance & lobby, administration offices, clinic area, lecture hall, library and science wing addition. This included a total of about 100,000 sqft in the new additions. Throughout phase 1, a number of additional areas were turned over, including a new Dance & Gymnastics room, new Softball Field (PH1B), Site Parking and Sidewalks (PH1C), Kitchen Cafeteria (PH1 S2), new Concessions building with a new access trail and sidewalk to the ball fields (PH2A). All these areas were completed and executed in coordination with the school’s daily academic operation, extracurricular activities and even community use of the school grounds. Completed in the fall of 2022, Oakton High School now provides modern amenities, removed temporary classrooms, and added an addition of approximately 109,000 SF, bringing the new school to 409,661 SF of fully renovated space for its students, staff, and community.
