Henley Construction in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools and the Acting Principal, Mrs. Carolynn Walsleben, of The Carl Sandburg Center worked together to build a large sandbox, addressing sensory needs and a playground upgrade for the students at its current location. Henley continues to build the new school property, located in Rockville, scheduled to be completed in April, 2020.
The timber structure was donated and built by Henley’s team. Sand was donated and delivered by KaRon Masonry which made it ready for use by the students. E&F Landscaping will be donating sod and labor to finish off the surrounding play are.
At Henley, we believe where we live and work matters and while it might be one of our smaller projects, the impact for the students is much larger. It took a team to make it all come together, thank you to all involved.
